In our little city of Baton Rouge, we grieve.
We grieve because of fear that has caused senseless loss. We grive because of violence that has taken away husbands and fathers who will never come home to hold their loved ones, to kiss their children.
There is an energy of sadness and loss enveloping us.
Like so many others, I found myself on my knees, asking the question, “Why?”
I don’t like the question, “Why?” It is a draining one.
Why do we hurt one another?
Why do we take from one another?
Why do we act out of hatred and fear?
Why?
In the silence of listening with my heart, I heard an answer:
Because you have forgotten.
You Have Forgotten That You Belong To One Another.
You have forgotten that beneath the clothes you wear, beneath the color of your skin,
beneath the titles you hold, that you are all from the same Creator, from the same Source.
You have forgotten that your purpose upon this Earth is to remember the sacredness of your connection.
You Have Forgotten That You Belong To One Another.
You have forgotten that your struggle is the struggle of All.
You have forgotten that your pain is the pain of All.
You have forgotten that your joy and your sorrow belong to All.
You have forgotten by acting in your separation.
You have forgotten your Oneness.
Why?
You have Forgotten.
It’s Time To Remember You Belong To One Another.
Remember your purpose is to LOVE.
Remember fear is the opposite of your Truth.
Remember fear separates.
Remember that when you hurt each other, the whole suffers.
Remember that in the eyes of your brother or sister is reflected your own soul.
Remember You Belong To One Another.
Remember you are all ONE.
Remember a Source, a Creator, a Power greater than you is still holding, loving and guiding you.
Remember You are Loved.
Remember when you love another, you love yourself.
Remember you need to care for one another.
Remember You are Love.
It’s Time To Remember We Belong To One Another.
I am ready to remember – are you?
Much Love and Prayers for Peace for All,
Lexlee
